PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
X2IPI is designed to work with multielectrode sounding data (Electrotomography, Electrical resistivity tomography, Resistivity imaging). The software allows users to set up the equipment to the optimal method of work, check and evaluate the quality of field data, process the data of the method of resistance and induced polarisation, and convert them into the formats of common 2D inversion programs.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
X2IPI can be installed on any IBM PC-compatible computer running Windows ’95/’98/NT/2000/XP. It is desirable that the video monitor operate in a 256 or more colour-mode.
FEATURES OVERVIEW
- Preparation and editing of measurement protocols for the selected survey technique using Syscal and Syscal-Pro electrical equipment (Iris Instruments, France) or Terrameter SAS4000/SAS1000 (ABEM, Sweden);
- Review and rejection of field data obtained with Syscal and Syscal-Pro electrical equipment (Iris Instruments, France) or Terrameter SAS4000/SAS1000 (ABEM, Sweden);
- Conversion of field data into formats of two-dimensional inversion programs Res2dInv (Geotomo Software, Malaysia) or SENSINV2D (Geotomographie, Germany);
- Suppression of instrumental and geological interference in the fields of apparent resistivity and induced polarisation;
- Analysis of the results of two-dimensional inversion;
- Converting 2D inversion results and field data into IPI2win software format for 1D interpretation, analysis and graphical presentation of results.
The program has an user-friendly and fast graphical interface that lets specialists optimally present data in the form of pseudo-sections of apparent resistivity and induced polarisation. This allows using X2IPI to prepare reporting graphics.
