The use of horn antennas with detachment from the surface improves the detection of layer boundaries. Both contrast in dielectric permittivity (“asphalt – crushed stone”) and low-contrast (“crushed stone – sand”).

GeoScan32 software package. The “Asphalt” module allows for semi-automatic picking of the bottom of the asphalt concrete layer.

It also determines the thickness of the asphalt concrete layer online.

Comparison of the thicknesses of the layers laid on the radargram with the restrictions on the minimum and maximum thicknesses specified for them. Layer thickness analysis can be performed simultaneously for several channels (interpretation of sounding results by several antenna units). The results of the analysis are displayed in the lower part of the radargram as colored bars.

Comparison with drilling data. Determination of the dielectric constant of each layer according to the drill string data. It is possible to further save the selected layers in the form of a table of capacities and save the section as an image for further printing.

Identification of places of high humidity on the radargram. Moisture analysis can be performed simultaneously for several channels (interpretation of sounding results by several antenna units). The results of the analysis are displayed in the lower part of the radargram as colored bars.

Comprehensible visual 3D display of the scan result.
